In the rematch against Evinger, Kunitskaya fought for the Invicta FC bantamweight championship. This time Evinger won the fight via. submission.

However, in the very next fight, Kunitskaya won the vacant Invicta FC bantamweight championship.

Following her Invicta FC championship victory, Kunitskaya moved to the UFC and fought for the UFC Women’s featherweight championship straight away. She faced the dangerous Cris Cyborg and was defeated in the very first round via TKO.

Kunitskaya then bounced back with two back-to-back wins against Lina Lansberg and Marion Reneau.
