“You look at Masvidal cross-eyed, he will punch you in the face” – White rubbishes claims of Gamebred and Kamaru incident being fake

Dana White was speaking to Will Cain and touched upon the Jorge Masvidal and Kamaru Usman tussle recently

Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal have some bad blood between them, and it almost led to a huge brawl at a Super Bowl event.

Neither man was able to do much damage, but things could have gotten out of hand. UFC president Dana White was also speaking to Will Cain on a range of topics and added that he didn’t like what transpired between the fighters.

White claimed that people might think this is good for the promotion, but there were factors such as UFC being governed which could have caused problems if the pair fought.

Masvidal and Usman have been trash-talking for a while and White confirmed that the pair would meet for the Welterweight belt soon.

White said the pair were acting like “Neanderthals” and he didn’t “love” the altercation. He did confirm that the fighters would have 25 minutes in the Octagon to do whatever they wanted to, but this wasn’t the place to do it.

Cain thought this was being faked as he was a few yards away from the altercation, but White confirmed that Gamebred doesn’t fake anything:

“Masvidal doesn’t fake anything. You look at Masvidal cross-eyed, he will punch you in the face. That’s why people love this guy.”

White confirmed that Masvidal would be the only person who might punch someone at Radio Super bowl too:

“Masvidal will. Will do it in a second, 100%. If we didn’t have the right people here, if some of my people weren’t here, that [Usman and Masvidal altercation] would have been a fight.”
