Mayachin Shrine could be tricky to solve given the puzzle that requires you to collect the chest and light of blessing. Just to help you with this here is a guide on how to get passed Mayachin Shrine in the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Mayachin Shrine which has the puzzle of a fixed device is located in the central Hyrule region in the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. In this side quest, you must take a baseball bat and hit one huge Orange target on the left to open the path out. You have another target on the right to open the part to the chest. The other end of this Shrine has a chest that holds a special reward that will be unlocked upon completing this Shrine.
To help you get past this Shrine smoothly here is a walkthrough on Mayachin Shrine and puzzles solutions in a Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
This Shrine is located on the surface north of the Hyrule field Sky View Tower in the Exchange Ruins South-West of the lookout landing. However, if you are looking for the exact coordinates we have also mentioned it below.
Let’s get started with how to get past this shrine. You can follow the process of a Walkthrough that we have described below.
When you enter the Shine you have to hop across the map using the rotating platform that you will find upon entering the Mayachin Shrine. Upon hopping across he will find a switch and crystal. Below you will also find a few construction parts, a couple of targets and a Ramp. There is a giant ball rolling through the middle of all of this.
Don’t worry about the hurdles keep reading to find out how to get past these obstacles. As mentioned this shrine quest required you to build your bat. So stay focused on that. Now stand on the switch to make it reveal the target on the left as mentioned above.
Go down to the lower level and head to the actuator which is the thing that sticks out of the ground next to where the ball rolls. Now remove a spike from the ground and press it into the large octagon-shaped size of the object sticking out of the ground. Later attach one of the round poles to the end of it and now you will be able to build her bat in different ways.
Players are supposed to attach one of the ends of the stick to create bat-like structure.
Head back up to the stairs to the crystal and the switch. Wait for the ball to touch the second last white tile and then hit the Crystal. Look at the colored strips on the ground that the ball rolls over. Depending on the bat you have built hit the orange switch and time your hit to Smack it right as the ball reaches does second to finals trip on the ground.
Try hitting the Crystal and adjust your timing until the ball hits that target which will reveal the next target on the right side of the room. Upon hitting the target it will open the shrine’s exit on your left.
That covers the first half of the Shrine. Now let’s see how you will get the chest in the Mayachin Shrine.
The Treasure chest will be locked in a cage across the exit. Once you activate the First Target on the left and the secondary target on your right. After the hidden place where the chest is located is revealed, head down the stairs and take a right. You will find a hanging panel and a stake in the ground.
Before moving for that you have to take care of the Hanging board. Grab this stake in the ground behind the Hanging panel and flip it upside down. Then use the Ultra hand to rotate the board so it stands flat against the ceiling and touches it to the spike hanging from the seeing above. Place it in the ceiling about the Hanging panel.
Depending on the bat you have built try to hit the First Target. Either reverse your belt or simply use it later to hit the target.
If you are still struggling to hit the targets you can also opt to build a long stick and attach the ball to the end and touch the targets with it then bring it back to a safe landing spot. Then make use of recall so it will hit the targets.
Wait for the ball to roll past your bat assembly and just before you reach the edge of the platform hit the Crystal.
Practice your timing well and keep trying until you hit the target on their right to open the gate to your right.
By now you should be able to enter the newly opened room on your right to find the Shrine chest which holds an Energizing Elixir. You will find this chest locked inside the cage with the Elixir.
Now turn around and head towards the exit to collect your light of blessing.
That sums up your journey in Mayachin Shrine and gets you the chest with the energizing elixir in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
