Tony Stewart Won the Top Fuel Regular Season Championship This Year

With Stewart’s first win coming in Las Vegas, his next was in Chicago. These key performances made 2025 one of the best years for the 54-year-old. Reflecting on the same while also touching upon the beauty and struggles of fatherhood, Stewart wrote on X:

Myself and the Top Fuel team were hoping we would be in a position to race for the World Championship at the end of the season. But, the goal at the beginning of the season was to just see the needle move in the right direction. So, to win two races and win the Regular Season Championship and even have an opportunity to race for the World Championship was moving the right direction. To sit there and think of a year ago when we went to Pomona for the finale and I didn’t even know if I was going to be coming back on race day. Here we are, and Dominic’s a year old. To have the experience at the racetrack with him this season was something that we can’t even put into words. You can’t plan ahead and think about what it’s going to feel like, you just have to live it and experience it. Having your son grow and be at the racetrack every weekend just adds to the experience, so this year has been amazing.

Following the event in Las Vegas in November, Stewart finished the season with 2364 points, notably scoring 130 points at Pomona.

When did Tony Stewart Marry Leah Pruett?

Tony Stewart first met Leah Pruett back in 2019, through Don Prudhomme (an American Drag Racer) who was particular about Stewart meeting Pruett. Once COVID happened, their relationship eventually began to blossom. A year later in early 2021 (March to be precise), Stewart and Pruett announced on their respective IG accounts that they were getting engaged.

8 months later, in November 2021, the couple married in Los Cabos, Mexico. Three years later, they welcomed their son Dominic James Stewart. It is also worth noting that (at the time of this writing), it’s just one day away for little Dominic’s 1st birthday.
